The firm was founded in 1921 by Roy B. Rollins as Roy B. Rollins and Company. The name changed in 1959 to Rollins, Cleavenger and Rollins and remains that to this day. It is mananged by Roy Rollins' youngest son, David H. Rollins, and is the oldest existing firm in the Charleston area.
